The Pain Genetics Symposium: From Basic Science to Clinical Applications
had been successfully held on 9 June 2012 at the Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine, the University of Hong Kong. The event was jointly organized by the
Hong Kong Pain Society and the Dept. of Anaesthesiology of the
University of Hong Kong.
Professor Inna Belfer from the University of Pittsburgh, USA, enlightened us on the topic: Pain Genetics: Past, Present, and Future. Another keynote lecture was delivered by Prof. Pamela Dru Flood from Unviersity of California, on Labour Pain Model: from Mice to Human. Many renowned local speakers were invited to talk about many different aspects of pain management (see the schedule). |
